Go vegan: Substitute the Quorn for a vegan-friendly meat alternative like Redwood's or Realeat's chicken-style pieces.


  • 2 heads of little gem lettuce
  • 5 spring onions, sliced diagonally
  • 1 orange pepper, deseeded and sliced
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 140g packet Quorn Roast-style Sliced Fillet


Stage 1

Separate the larger leaves from the heads of lettuce. Rinse, pat dry and place on a serving platter.

Stage 2

Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the spring onions, garlic and pepper for 5–10 minutes until softened. Add the roast-style sliced fillets and sauté for a further 3–5 minutes, until heated through.

Stage 3

Stir in the hoisin sauce and heat through. Pile the mixture into the lettuce leaves and serve straight away.
