This dairy free and vegan (unless you add the optional dark chocolate chips), gluten free dessert will blow you away. It's a fluffy, light banana cake. And not to mention, it's completely guilt free! There are so many health benefits of this dessert. Anyone and everyone can enjoy this delectable dish!

Ingredients

  • 1 15.5 oz Can of Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans
  • 1 Banana (large)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup Honey (natural)
  • Almonds to Garnish (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup Dark Chocolate Chips (optional)

Method

Stage 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray an 8x8 pan. Drain the chickpeas.

Stage 2

Blend chickpeas and oats together in a blender or food processor.

Stage 3

In a large bowl, mash the banana and stir in the blender mixture.

Stage 4

Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir until combined. Then fold in dark chocolate chips, if desired.

Stage 5

Pour into the pan and bake for 10-12 minutes. Garnish with almonds if you would like. Enjoy!
