Heligan Harvest, Tours and Tastings - Autumn Events at Heligan

Botanical Art - Remembering Heligan Exhibition
Heligan is delighted to be working alongside the incredible botanical artist Mally Francis to launch a new exhibition that focuses on what would have been seen in the garden one hundred years ago.

Mally Francis teaches the art of botanical drawing in her studio which is just moments away from the gardens. In 2014 Heligan commemorated the outbreak of WW1 and this inspired Mally and her talented group of students to work towards the theme of 'Remembering Heligan'. From intricate paintings of the stunning Magnolia Campbellii to delicate drawings of Natural History this evocative exhibition will celebrate the survival of the plants and species at Heligan over the last hundred years.

The exhibition will be situated amongst stunning harvest vegetable displays in the covered area throughout Harvest which runs from Saturday 19th September until Sunday 4th October. Entry to the exhibition only is free. Garden Admission applies for those wishing to see Heligan.

Heligan Harvest: A taste of our Heritage
Harvest time at The Lost Gardens of Heligan is an experience for all the senses.
Visitors to Heligan will have the chance to see the spectacular harvest display for which Heligan is renowned for producing year on year from their very own Victorian Productive Gardens.
The fruits of Heligan's productive year will be an experience for all the senses presented in the annual harvest display. The produce will be prepared and served in homemade, seasonal dishes in the Heligan Tearooms.
Visitors to Heligan can take the opportunity to see and taste the "Heritage fruit, vegetables, traditions, colours and flavours to ignite the senses and feed the soul."
Heligan Managing Director, George Elworthy, comments: "Harvest is one of the most popular times of year here at Heligan. We see the fruits of the Summers labour, and each year the display gets more ambitious."
