It's dark and spooky, the pumpkins are carved, cobwebs in place and frightful happenings are on the cards – it's time for a Halloween party. Disgust guests with sumptuous slimy snails and scare the tooth fairy with black widow cake.
This deliciously scary treat has been created by the Vegetarian Society without the use of animal ingredients – such as gelatine, animal fat or crushed beetles.
How to decorate
Simply team the slimy snails (savoury stuffed giant pasta shells) and black widow cake (liquorice flavoured loveliness) with spooky spuds with scary toppings, hocus pocus patatas bravas, lantern soup and devilish red cabbage – for a fiendish feast to please even your most ghoulish guests.
