Wildlife Watchers

Autumn is an amazing time for observing nature, from spotting fabulous fungi to seeing spectacular deer ruts, and children can enjoy gathering everything from blackberries to conkers and fallen leaves in a dazzling array of colours.
You can find fun autumn-themed spotting sheets at the Wildlife Trusts' website for younger naturalists so kids can tick off all the interesting flora and fauna they find, or why not try some of the activity sheets, which include step-by-step guides to making a hedgehog home, an insect hotel or even a blackberry crumble!
